Q: How long will it take to fill out my information?

A: On your first visit – 15 to 20 minutes to gather profile and insurance information. Normally 5-10 minutes to fill out a prescription.

Q: Is my medication covered by Medical?

A: Medical has a formulary with a list of covered or uncovered medications.

Q: When and where do you deliver?

A: We deliver in Fortuna every afternoon at 3:00 P.M. If your prescription is called in by 3:00 and has authorized refills then you will get it that day.

Q: How long will it take the doctor to OK refills?

A: 24 – 48 hours in most cases.

Q: Why can’t you always refill my prescription when there are refills on the bottle?

A: Prescriptions of controlled drugs such as pain medication, sleeping medication, and muscle relaxants are only valid for 6 months from the original date. Other medication prescriptions are valid for one year only even if there are refills remaining on the bottle. We have to have your doctors authorization after these time limits.
